cRio sensitivity?

How sensitive is the cRio? Currently, I'm planning to mount it on the wall (the back of the robot), but I've been having second thoughts. Will the cRio being mounted at the back with the robot while colliding with other robots affect how it functions. I'm doing this to conserve space btw

Re: cRio sensitivity?

The cRio is built pretty robustly. We mounted it more or less against the back frame for Breakaway, and never had a problem with it, despite getting banged up by other robots and going over the bump.

Re: cRio sensitivity?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. After watching this, you probably won't worry too much either.

Re: cRio sensitivity?

Modules might pop out above 50G of force (closer to 100G actually), so yes, this should be taken into account. However, the bigger problem is loose wiring. Also, not all of the components are rated for shock, so take care mounting your radio and camera.
