Sending cRIO Processed Image to Dashboard

Hello all,

Background: We are processing our images on the cRIO and wish to send our processed image to some dashboad on the driver station. We do not wish to spend too much time rewriting our processing code on the computer.

I would like a real time stream. I am aware of a more kludgy method(saving to flash, retrieving to computer). Due to the cRIO's flash limitations(both space and deterioration), I've found that this method is impractical.

With that in mind, would like to ask if anyone has been able to send cRIO processed images to the dashboard.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Re: Sending cRIO Processed Image to Dashboard

What we ended up doing was having the dashboard applying the same functions in tandem to the raw stream from the camera, so while we don't get the actual frames from the cRIO it comes out the same (and at a higher framerate) with less load to the cRIO.
