Exclamation NEED HELP wiring Allen-Bradley Right Sight sensor

We are very confused at the moment...
It is in team 2403's plan to use the Allen-Bradley Right Sight light sensors to inventory how many basketballs we have stored. We have figured out exactly how to use them/how they work in various tests and have calibrated the sensors to our specifications. Unfortunately the sensors are not functioning properly with our robot.

We have each light sensor wired into a digital input with the cables soldered together as follows:
Sensor - Digital Input Cable
White - White
Brown - Red
Blue - Black
Black - Empty
When we turn the robot on and launch autonomous the sensors do not light up like they did when we tested them - they don't light up at all.
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.
