AM-0914 Motor Planetary Grease
I'm not sure if this is a stupid question, but has anyone noticed if we need to take apart the planetary that comes pre-attached to the AM-0914 Gearmotor to grease it? It seemed kind of sticky to me and AM doesn't say on the motor's page that you need to grease it before use (like BB does on their planetaries).
I'm only asking because it kind of a pain in the $@#$@#$@# to take it off where we have it now to check myself. |

Re: AM-0914 Motor Planetary Grease
When we tested these motors in my lab, it seemed that their mechanical losses decreased by several Watts after being run-in for a while. Probably the grease needs to be warmed and distributed. We saw improvement after about ten minutes running free-shaft at 12 Volts.
