Unknown NI 9102

My team and I were just finishing up our bot after some re-modifications and I put in the code for testing. Whenever I tried to run the bot, it ended up not moving and the jaguars continued to blink as if they weren't receiving any information from the cRIO. I re-uploaded the code a few more times and concluded there was nothing wrong with the code and the electronics all seemed to be fine. My team and I decided to just re-image the cRIO in case anything had gone wrong, but when I opened the application, the module diagram showed that the NI 9102 module was unknown. It was in the first slot, was properly connected in, had a green light on showing it was receiving power, but it wasn't working. I took it out, put it back in, and re-imaged the cRIO, although, nothing has helped it. We're excited to almost have the bot done, but it just won't run so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Uploading faulty code many times does not cure the fault.

Check the 37 pin connector cable. If you are using the 2012 ribbon cable, and have not yet corrected the mis-wired connector, then do that immediately.

Try the default drive code and see if that works. If yes, then your code has a fault.

If the default code does not improve things, then start considering a hardware fault.

Re: Unknown NI 9102

There is no 9102 module; I assume you mean 9201. The only suggestions I have would be to tether with a crossover cable and make sure you have wired the analog breakout's power supply to a pair of 12V terminals (and not the 24V ones).

That being said, the presence of the analog breakout module is irrelevant to drive control. It is a sensor input interface, and nothing more. The 9403 module is the one that you need to drive your robot. Directions for checking and fixing your DB37 can be found here.
