Banebots sensor recommendation

I'm looking at a non-FIRST application here, so you don't need to refer to the Manual.

What encoders have you found that would integrate directly with the BaneBots P60 gearbox, running a BaneBots 775-12 motor? And what tricks are used to integrate them?
