cRio Communication Errors

We have had success with reading the cRio on one our mentors laptop but on our personal minicomputer and on another personal laptop, (both running windows 7 & have current 2012 LabVIEW, and FRC Driver Station), we have not been able to connect to the cRio.

Everything is set up properly, meaning we have changed our network settings to match the driver station, we are using a crossover cable to manually tether, & all current updates have been installed on all computers. However, we keep on getting a reading of "No Communication" and "No Robot Code" on the Driver Station window.

Our code is set to run as startup, which will show up on our mentors laptop but not on the other two computers.

Please feel free to offer any troubleshooting options or suggestions

Re: cRio Communication Errors

Try making the IPv4 address different than what it is. If it's 10.xx.yy.1, try 10.xx.yy.3 or something to that measure. We've had this issue and changing the IP address worked for us.

The standard ip addresses are:
cRIO: 10.te.am.2
bridge: 10.te.am.1
router (if you are using one in addition to the bridge): 10.te.am.4
driver station computer: 10.te.am.5 or 6, but larger numbers work as well
camera: 10.te.am.11

Can you ping the robot at 10.te.am.1? If you can, your networking is probably set up properly (it could be a problem with your driver station configuration).
