James, the real credit goes to google, all I did was google 'RC pinion puller' and found those guys.

As far as getting pinions faster, do you know the specs of the gear inside of the CIMulator? IIRC, they're 24DP, but I'm not 100% positive. If they are, you could order pinion stock from somewhere like SDP-SI or McMaster and make your own, or if you're really lucky, McMaster might sell the correct pinion already.

Yes, they are 24dp, but banebots never mentions the pressure angle and we aren't sure how to measure it.
