RSL Issues

We cannot get our RSL to turn on when it is connected to the DSC. It worked fine when we had it connected to the PD. Any suggestions?

Have you done the DB-37 cable check and rework as described in http://www.usfirst.org/sites/default...tructions.pdf?

Is the DSC powered?

What is the RSL light on the DSC (a green LED next to the letters "RSL") doing?

Ive ran into a similar issue while I was setting up the electronics this year, Its turns out I just had a bad connection to the terminal in the PDB.

Yes we have done the DB-37 rework and the DSC is working fine. The RSL light on the DSC is not working.

If the green light on the DSC is not working, then your problem isn't your RSL. double check the cable with a multimeter, and make sure all pins transfer through correctly. When we fixed ours the first time, it turned out that only about half the pins got through correctly (the half in the middle were the problem...), so some things worked fine, but the RSL did not.

Yepp that helped. Pins 5-13 were'nt working, but we've fixed it. Thanks!
