Robots are required to use Bumpers to protect all exterior vertices of the Frame Perimeter. For adequate protection, at least 8 in. of Bumper must be placed on each side of each exterior vertex (see Figure 4‑1, Figure 4‑2, and Figure 4‑3).

By rule 27 (the only rule defining the coverage of bumpers), bumpers are considered legal as long as they measure eight inches from each exterior vertex on your robot. The question is.... what if there are no vertices to measure from?

Pseudocode for that check:

For each vertex
If the vertex isn't covered, return false (not covered)
End for
Return true (covered)

In which case, that for-loop would never run, and it would skip straight to return true. So you're in the clear!
