What they did last year for us was we had to send in our pictures/video and get them approved before using them for our robot video, etc., but it's no problem really. 254 is always quick to respond, and is usually very lenient of things.

256 will be going to the Lab on Sunday! I can't wait! There's so much to work on, so much driving to practice on, and of course you have to look your best in front of the 2011 world champions!

This is not a policy enforced by us. I'm not sure where you got that from.

If anyone wants to post pictures of their own robot taken at our facility that's perfectly fine.

We would just prefer to publicly unveil our robots on our own terms and would like to allow other teams the option to do so as well.

Thanks for the clarification. I remember hearing from somebody that we had to do that in case we accidentally violated other team's privacy but showing their robot, but that may not have been the case.

Is there a list available of the teams planning to arrive at the scrimmage weekend?

256 will be scrimmaging at NASA Ames this Sunday, from around 3:00 to 6:00. What teams are going, and when?

Nobody from 4159 has requested a visitor's pass yet.

Is there anyway to request them now considering we did not see the large bold print....

I can't wait! BTW, Kevin, I'm kinda curious, do you think you see your team attending more/different regionals/off-season in the future? I'd love to see you at Cal Games, and maybe at SVR/CVR one year! Or one of the new regionals to come!

PM me back, since this thread has derailed enough already.

Re: NASA Ames Pre-Ship Practice Weekend & Scrimmage

Are we required to bring our bumpers to the scrimmage? We were planning on fabricating them after bag and tag, however we may need to get to it if they're required for the scrimmage.

Thanks!
