Question teams in south carolina

hi my best friend who was on my FIRST robotics team just moved from michigan to south carolina and is having trouble finding a team to join he lives in Honea Path and will go to Woodmont High School but he thinks they dont have a team there. if that team doesnt have a robotics team is there any team near by that would like him to join he is very good at it and is a hard worker thanks bye angie

Well...I'm on team 343 Metal-in-Motion. We're located in Oconee County, SC which is probably about a 1hr or less drive from Honea Path. There's also a team in Pendleton--Cutting Edge Robotics, Team 845, Pendleton. I'm not sure if my team, or the Pendleton team would accept someone who does not go to any of the high schools, but you could certainly try! Jess pretty much got the team thing... but on a side note, Honea Path is where my dad's from.... and I have a lot of family up there... and I visit there a couple times a year. That's great.
