TrafficCop
Introducing TrafficCop, a signaling device for robot/driver cooperation, useful for FRC 2012 and beyond.
![]() Imagine you are balancing on a bridge at the end of the match. How do you communicate with your alliance partner on the other side of the corral, or to the opposing alliance across the field? With TrafficCop, you direct them to stay still or move to adjust the balance. Features: Black 4" x 4" circuit board for high contrast. Bright red and green LEDs, or build with your own. Operates from 1 Spike relay module or two 12V solenoid drivers. Can be daisy-chained with standard PWM cables to run multiple units from the same power control (not included). Square board may be mounted upside-down to reverse arrow polarity, or at 90° to signal forward/back. On-board PTC resettable fuses to protect against shorts. Through-hole components for easy modification or kit assembly. ![]() Available fully assembled, as a kit for you to solder, or as an empty black PCB. Learn more at http://www.auroraresearch.com/. |

Re: TrafficCop
How would the other teams be signaled? You place this on the side of the robot? You obviously wouldn't hand one out to each team...
