Reflective Gaff Tape
Hello there. I was hoping you could help me and my team with a problem we are having. We need to know how to fix reflective Gaff tape to plywood for our backboards so we can aim properly. The specific kind of tape is Reflexite GP020. We would really appreciate it if you could help us. Thank you.

Re: Reflective Gaff Tape
We took the samples in the KOP, put loops of tape on the back and used just black duct tape as contrast material. It's quick and easy enough.
Good luck and happy taping. |

Re: Reflective Gaff Tape
I used Hi-tack spray adhesive. Spray it on the back of the tape, let dry a little then put in on the plywood.

Re: Reflective Gaff Tape
We used wood glue, then put dark gaffers tape around the rectangles.
The best part is the wood glue will hold up the reflective tape, but when the RT is removed, the lion's share of the glue stays affixed to the plywood. RT is as good as new! |
