Is this design legal?

It's kind of late for this, but we were wondering if the arm we've designed is legal. It's a protuding arm that swings open at the beginning of the match and stays open for its duration. Would this cause problems with inspection?

Re: Is this design legal?

Pictures would be nice if possible.

As long as your arm is 1 appendage and extends less then 14"" outside your frame perimeter you should be fine. Can't get any more exact with out drawings or pictures.

Re: Is this design legal?

It should be legal, so long as it only protrudes 14in. or less from the edge of your frame and you don't use it to harm other 'bots. Make sure it's completely tucked in at the beginning of the match too. But you're being a bit vague as to what it actually is or looks like, so this is the best advice I can offer.
