We want to slow the speed of one of our window/gear motors because it is too fast. we are using the motor to move a stick to bring down the bridge. we are also using a Victor as a control or possibly a Jaguar. we need help!!

Multiply the value you're inputting to the Set Output VI by a number less than 1.
EDIT: or you could do what he said, that sounds better |

I cant really do anything on the physical robot, it is a direct drive motor.

If your team won't allow any more changes, change the speed via software through your jags/victors. IF you can change your robot, separate your motor from your bridge manipulator a bit, add a small gear/sprocket on the output shaft of the motor, a large one on the bridge manipulator and then add chain if necessary. If you need help with this, I'd be more than happy to provide examples on our robot.
