An alternative you might want to try, if you'd rather avoid crimping the pins yourself, is Pololu.

Re: Finding pwm cable pins?

Ditto on Hansen Hobbies. We just ordered cable, male and female pins, housings, and a crimper tool. Now we can make our pwm cables to whatever length we want!

Re: Finding pwm cable pins?

Our team uses hanson hobbies, we just ordered their kit, more specifically i was looking at the individual female pins and connectors for home and robotics use, i already own a crimper, etc. i found that hansons and pololu both have them

Re: Finding pwm cable pins?

Below is some information I've collected over the years from CD threads and hours of searching all the major electronics part distributors. I've been using the Multicomp parts from Newark. They're cheap even in small quantities, and I've had great experiences with Newark, from searching for parts to shipping. However, they only seem to have the female pins - okay for sensors, but a deal-breaker if you're trying to make whole cables.

2226A-03 - 3-terminal housing
2226TG - Female crimp terminal

I've also had good experiences with Hansen Hobbies. Their deal is hard to beat if you're just getting started. But once you have the crimper, you'll likely do better if you just order the stuff you need.

Whole cables available from top_racing2007 Ebay store in bulk, < $1 each.

If it's that urgent, you might try contacting other local teams and asking if they have anything you could borrow. I know FRC teams 120 and 1270 are in Cleveland.

I think I might have found a solution with a different website. *phew* If it doesn't work out I'm sure I'll be asking around at Buckeye Regional next week Thanks for the advice

Re: Finding pwm cable pins?

Your local RC hobby shop should carry PWM cables. Or if you are really in a pinch you could always steal the PWM cable and from a servo or something.
