Great looking robot but an even better looking video. Great job editing that thing. Good luck in 2012!

Can't wait to see it in person. Do you have a party trick to back up the name "Edgewalker"?

Re: Team 610 present Coyobot XIII- Edgewalker
Looks real clean! Nice work.
I've seen you in the CAN forums enough over the past few years... I'm assuming you guys are big on CAN Jags (like us). I'd love to get a closer look at your electrical layout. It would be nice to see how other teams approach layout. Also, what's going on with your camera setup? It looks like there's more to it than an Axis with a light ring. Good luck this year, something tells me you wont be needing it though. Last edited by otherguy : 29-02-2012 at 18:41. Reason: added camera question |

Re: Team 610 present Coyobot XIII- Edgewalker
James,
A close-up of our electrical layout can be found here: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/37293 Our mast has an axis camera, ring lights, and an ultrasonic sensor in it. They are enclosed in a custom 1/4" polycarb integrated housing designed, CADed and built by one of our grade 10 students. The video was produced and edited by one of our grade 9 students. I think he did a masterful job given the seemingly random raw practice footage he had to work with. |

Hats off...
I'm amazed at how many Jags you've fit in there. Right angle spade terminals are invaluable. |

This looks awesome, I really look forward to seeing it in action.
How thick is the polycarbonate for your flippers, and how well has it held up? |

Re: Team 610 present Coyobot XIII- Edgewalker
Oh, I get it now.
Have fun with your own triples. My gut says the wider stance of your mechanism will serve you well. |
