Thumbs down

The Team I am currently on has had the same problems.

-No O.I. (Unit, A.C. Adaptor, and Radio)
-No SMC Pnumatics Fittings
-No120 PSI Regulator
-No EDUBot
-No Yaw rate sensor connector
-Missing All software
-Niether Of The Joysticks
-No 25 Pin Connector
-No 25 Pin Connector Shield
-No Retroreflective Tape

Although We Don't have those parts we seem to have ended up with an extra bag of "Parker" (I Think) Brass Fittings.

This Is Rather Odd, As To Be Missing Some, And Yet Have Some Extra.

Where are our parts????

Our team just got done totally pulling apart the kit. We counted 20 different items that we are missing. Our team is pretty upset about it. I am not sure what the problem is, but I believe every team is going to need the whole 6 weeks to build a great bot. Hopefully this mess will be cleared up soon.

I made a list of all of the items we are missing. It fills a 36-line piece of paper! I checked today and we finally got our sensors as well as FileMaker Pro and Visual Studio .NET but we are still missing all of the other software. We still don't have any of the tube-related pneumatic parts and many other things! It is quite frustrating but I guess that it will all be sorted out by the end of the week which should be enough time. We plan to have a running drive system to test on by Saturday so I am hoping that everything will be figured out by then...

Hmmm.. It'd be nice to have two of our motors... along with a bunch of the pneumatic stuff. And one other part, I can't remember... No reflective tape two years in a row... Missing.. ack can't remember again! (and memory goes downhill from now... too bad for me)

Luckily, we didn't get gipped (spelling?) on the motors but I did have some trouble after having taken apart the drill motor by accident (couldn't get it back together )... We got our reflective tape this year but last year FIRST ripped us off... Though they did give us some, it was about 2" long! Oh well, nobody really used it last year anyway...

I believe they are 10 guage wires, black and red.

Our team, too, is missing a lot of the stuff listed below

2 seat motors
all SMC pneumatics (tubing, fittings, solenoid valves)
vibration reductor and 120 psi relief valve (are they installed on the compressor already?)
retroreflective tape
gyrochip and connector
40 amp circuit breakers
all catalogs (except MSC), manuals

I believe IO, IO modem, IO adaptor and joystix came with Edu, and we can order 3 custom-made cylinders from Bimba.

MISSING

we are also missing 25 pin cup and shield, the 40 amp breakers, the reflexite strip, and the SMC pneumatics. These things it seems like everyone was missing, so we aren't as worried about them as we are about these missing items:

2 5/8" ID radial ball bearings
3 Conductor shielded wire, 30' length, gauge 24
2 panel mount LEDs
1 giant muffin fan
1 Nut motor mount 10-32 X 2" SHCS (I don't know what it is but it's on the list i'm copying)
1 Nut motor mount 1/4-20 nylock
2 metric key stocks
2 flexible shaft couplings
2 worm gear actuators (1 left, 1 right)
2 flexible motor shafts (13.5" long)

software:
1 filemaker pro
1 microsoft front page
1 microsoft project
1 microsoft visual studio

I read through all the posts looking for info on these things but I'm tired and I couldn't find any definate info. Whatever things we haven't found out about in 2 days from this list we are going to contact FIRST about. please help if you have found any of these items with locations and possibly descriptions. Thanks.

Everyone should get the new update from FIRST. It contains a new list of parts and explanations for the where-abouts of many of the parts (yaw rate sensor connector, 40A cb's, etc.).
