Smile My Skill Level

Well, my creativity far outweighs my technical skills. When I want to do an effect I don't know how to, I pull out the manuals and search for a tutorial. I can follow more complex tutorials when I need to, so I can usually get the job done.

Our team has some really cool ideas for this, our first year with animation, and we'll struggle with it all, but will hopefully pull through with something that'll at least make a judge go "Huh, that was kinda neat." We have, what, 10 weeks to submit after the kickoff?
We've had MAX since last year, but we didn't submit anything then.

Red face 3D Studio Max is New To Me

My artistic expertise lies with traditional tools like the airbrush and I am particularly fond of acrylics. I can make designs with Photoshop, Coreldraw and even Microsoft Word. But 3D Sudio Max is like any other tool: the more you use it the better you get at it.
