Team 4183 "The Bit Buckets" Shooter

We recently got the shooter working well enough to post it. Here's a few videos from today of 4183, the Bit Buckets from Tucson AZ:

Layups from fender:

Shots from key:

Turret in action:

After watching 1st and 2nd week webcasts, we made the decision to primarily shoot from the fender, so we chopped our conduit shooter down. We soon found out this angle doesn't limit us from accurately shooting from the key! There's one other location we tried that worked, which is the corner formed by the fender and alliance station wall.

We'll be competing in the upcoming Utah regional as well as the Arizona regional the following week. Questions/comments appreciated!

Your robot is awesome and so is your website that I just looked up. All of the rookie teams posting here look pro.

Oh, on your website TGI Fridays gives you food on Wednesdays?

Thanks! Yeah, I believe we had already gotten Subway when TGI was suggested . One of our parents worked really hard to make sure we had donated food for dinner every night.
