Re: Sandwich Bot

Would it be legal for me to build a tiny 30-lb robot designed to take up the absolute minimum space on the bridge and give it to a team to have inspected and use as their bot, provided that they weren't withholding anything else? I can think of some creative ways to cram all necessary components into an 8-inch wide space...

You'd have a maxi-minibot then?

Re: Sandwich Bot

If we find a rookie team in serious trouble Thursday morning we will be suggesting a small robot strategy and helping them build it.

The rules that most people are using only allow you to have ONE 14" extension outside the frame perimeter .....

Good point, my bad. Guess you'd have to make it latch to only one, but that would still seem to be beneficial. If one of the end robots had a latch as well, the overall idea could still work.
