FIRST Team 79's Relay Team "Krunching Cancer"

Hello everyone!!

I am extremely happy that we were able to "turn pink" at the Orlando competition to help raise money for our Relay for Life team! We are giving buttons out when you donate money to the American Cancer Association! Come find us at the South Florida Regional and check out our amazing button designs!!

This is our Relay team!

Our team relays for the memory of our mentor Barry Leedy that passed away last year during the Orlando Regional. He passed away from Lung cancer. We relay also for every FIRST mentor and family member that has passed away. I know everyone has been touched by cancer, including me. I lost my uncle to Prostate cancer and the cancer was unable to be treated, it spread to his bones. They were unable to save him. I know everyone wants to see Cancer disappear, it is up to us to change the world. So lets do it! If we can build robots, we can build people's courage! Lets relay!
