Orbit 1690's robot

2012 Israeli regional winners (second year in a row) along with teams 1662 - Raptor Force Engineering and 1937 - Elysium.

Some really raw footage of our robot and team from the Israeli regional:

A complete (and better edited) video, as well as some information about the robot will be uploaded in a few days...

See you at St. Louis!

Re: Orbit 1690's robot

Before you get to St. Louis, you might want to fix those bumpers; you can't have the number fragmented across the front. Did the inspectors in Isreal not ding you for that, or was this picture taken before inspection? Looks like a fantastic robot, based on the video!

Re: Orbit 1690's robot

It appears the photo was taken before inspection. If you watch the video attached very closely, you can see their front bumper numbering isn't segmented.

Congrats guys! Good luck at St Louis!

Thanks for the heads up and the positive review, we are aware of this rule and it will be fixed before we get to St. Louis...

Actually it was taken after inspection (you can see the inspection sticker on the outer side of the shooter).
The inspector did notice it and informed us, but since there were lots of teams who made this mistake and it doesn't really make any difference in games, they let us keep it until the end of the regional.
As I said before, it will be fixed until we get there.
