Please help!

Hello everyone.
My name is yuval, and I'm the team leader of team MisCar 1574 from Israel.
In this year's regional event we were grateful to win the Engineering Inspiration award and are now preparing for the FIRST Championship.

But as you know, the preperation is very hard especially for teams outside the U.S.

Our first problem is transportation: There is a lot of equipment such as tools, spare parts and pit parts. If there is a team that can borrow us the following equipment, please contact me at Hardufy2@gmail.com:

Batteries (super important!)
Soldering iron
Red and Black wires (for power distribution)
And all kinds of hardware equipment

The second and our bigger problem is founding.
The registration for the Israeli regional costs 11500$ (more than most of the other regionals)
As opposing to american teams who have won the Chairman or the Engineering Inspiration awards, the registration for the championship is not covered by NASA.
And more than everything, the flight tickets are very expensive.
In total each student have to pay more than 2000$.
If you can support us in any way, by contacting us with a sponsor, or in any other way. Please please please contact me at Hardufy2@gmail.com

We will be very grateful for any help! See you in St. Louis.

Re: Please help!

Hi Yuval,
Unfortunately, I cannot offer anything in financial support as our funds are very low this year. But we always have plenty of tools, hardware, wiring, and we may be able to lend some batteries. (Although you may want to get 1 new battery there.) We will be in St Louis, and if you can make it, look for team 279 Tech Fusion. Also if there are certain motors, etc that you need for spares, let me know ahead of time.
Good luck,
Jim

Hi,
What gauge and length wire do you need? We can definitely bring a soldering iron. (I've also sent you an email).
