Exclamation Box unbendable material

The Samsonite Monkeys of Site 3 Engineering (team 1097) have just beaten a box to death simulating the force of robots colliding with on of the boxes. We discovered that the material that the boxes are made of isn't very bendable. When kicked about 5 times the box crack, making holes in the box. Now just imagine the force of two 130 lb. robots colliding with the box. It would practically shatter. Just wanted to help all you other teams out with the heads up.

Boxes

Oh yeah those boxes are going to shatter right and left, think about the first 15 seconds of the game where to robots come screaming up the ramp and directly hit the boxes. In that instant two or three boxes are going to be demolished. I hope First is planning on buying about 3000 boxes because they are going to be replacing them so fast. And also we dropped our box from the table to see where the center of gravity was (of couse the side) and put a stress fracture on it these boxes are not durable in the least!

Yeah, I concur, two robots pushing for the same box will probably crack them.

Now, would they still count as boxes after being torn in half?

Half a point?

If There is half Left over

If those boxes are only in halves by the end of each match I will be very supprised, I am imaging about 42 little pieces of box lying all over.
