Re: Sudden Regional Entry
IF you can afford a 2nd Regional, go to Worlds!!! It's only a 1000.00 more

Re: Sudden Regional Entry
But they don't have an invite. RAS goes, RI doesn't.

Re: Sudden Regional Entry
Gary, can you report on your success on registering? I mentor a couple rookie teams as well who would love to go to a second -- IF they had the funding.

Re: Sudden Regional Entry
I know teams who have done this in the past. It certainly can happen, they would much rather have spots filled than not.

Re: Sudden Regional Entry
This. I know a couple of teams that have fallen just short at other events, scraped together the money to get to Palmetto, and reached the medal round.

Re: Sudden Regional Entry
Did you bag and tag your robot before leaving the last regional?
If not, get it in a bag immediately and email frcteams@usfirst.org to discuss the implications with them. Contact FIRST HQ and/or the Regional Director ASAP to see if you can get into Las Vegas. |

Re: Sudden Regional Entry
Vegas probably a good choice hope you can get in! ...lots easier(?) than Central Valley which will be our second regional. I'm thinking we could have done Vegas but definitely too late to make that switch!
