VIP files without VIPM?
Hello -
I'm trying to install a toolkit for my recently purchased LabView for Mac Student Edition. I have been instructed by the toolkit's manufacturer to install it via VIPM, however VIPM states it does not support/run on my version of Mac OS X, Lion. Is there a way to manually install a .vip file to operate within LabView? Thanks, Dominick. |

Re: VIP files without VIPM?
Doesn't work on OSX Lion you say?
I installed it a while back. I remember having to allow some permissions within the terminal to get it to install. https://decibel.ni.com/content/thread/11255 I'm not sure where you're going with this, but I do know you have messing with the Arduino. To warn you, NI-VISA won't work natively on OSX Lion. There's a beta of it on the NI website, but I have had no luck with it. To use NI-VISA, I have to boot into 32-bit mode. http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/all...2578B0006458A5 Last edited by RyanN : 25-03-2012 at 16:35. |

Re: VIP files without VIPM?
We (JKI) have a knowledge base article on how to install VIPM 2010 for Mac on OSX 10.7+ located here:
