Re: 2012 FRC Arizona Regional
Had an awesome time at the Arizona Regional at Hamilton High School this weekend! Great job to 1212, 610, and 842. Awesome and congrats to the Coconuts for their Chairman's win!
The Dragons had an amazing time, and really worked hard to reach a new level this season. We had no mechanical problems, passed inspection fairly early, went to practice matches, and applied for all awards. Our Chairman's presenters worked really hard and I am very proud of them. Our robot scored points and made it on the bridge, balanced several times. Congrats Dragons on winning the Gracious Professionalism Award! Now it is on to Las Vegas! |

Re: 2012 FRC Arizona Regional
Congratulations Teams 610, 842 and 1212!
610: Nice to have that monkey off your backs eh? 842: Back to back regional wins is pretty amazing. I wish I could say I've been part of something like that. 1212: 8 years since you last won a regional, it must be nice to have that monkey off your backs as well. After hearing so many great stories out of this regional, I really want to attend it next year. -Nick |

Re: 2012 FRC Arizona Regional
Hi All.
Congratulations to the 842, 610, and 1212 alliance, was a great to saw you play and recover to win the regional. 842 and 610 besides other great arizona regional participant teams have set our target as a team for the next years, so we will work harder to get the "A" class performance same as you. Coconuts you are awesome, we enjoyed your price, your deserve it!! Crush as always we are a great buddies and hopefully we can attend the Tucson regional next year. We appreciate to all Arizona teams the great support for us and we will be looking get back next year. This year we where planing be part of the top eigth but we did not perform as well as planned (Important is that we got the lessons and we will improve for the championship). Hope 2013 we finally get the regional at Mexico and all of you are more than welcome to visit us. Best Regards Fausto Vazquez. |

Thank you so much for the congrats! I am deeply humbled and grateful for the experience with my team this year, we have grown so much, and Vegas, that is really exciting for us, as this will be our first multiple regional season! Now that we have worked out some kinks and solidified our driving, we are ready!

Re: 2012 FRC Arizona Regional
Wow, wow, wow! Our experience in Arizona was spectacular! I was so impressed with the warmth and hospitality shown to us by all the wonderful Arizona teams. Your enthusiasm is amazing. On Saturday night we just so happened to be at the same restaurant as team 1011. They all got up and stood around our table and gave us a standing ovation! It was a tad overwhelming. There were many more instances where teams stopped by to give us an encouraging word, and just lavish praise on our robot. It really was great to meet so many wonderful people. Arizona has got to be one of the friendliest regionals in First.
The fact that we were able to pull off our first win in 10 years was great, but my lasting impression will be of how wonderful the Arizonan teams are. Team 842: it was fantastic working with a world class team such as yourselves. We may have ranked number 1, but that was due to some dumb luck on our part. You definitely carried the alliance in the finals. We couldn't have won without you. Team 1212: thanks for being a great alliance partner. Those bridge points were important! Team 1011: your enthusiasm and kindness are remarkable. You built one of the most beautiful robots I have seen yet. The turret and shooter is a work of art. Keep up the hard work and I expect big things in your future. Team 1726: your ability to keep things simple yet effective are inspiring. Team 4126: this being your rookie year, I'm sure it was overwhelming, but I can see a lot of potential. You team worked well together under pressure. We loved sharing the best pit ever with you. Team 383: your robot was a mechanical engineering tour de force. Four speed transmission, eight wheel rocker suspension, centrifugal flywheel weights for the shooter... It was quite a treat looking through your CAD assembly. To all of the people who dropped by our pits to chat and ask about our robot: thanks for your kinds words and curiosity. One of the best things about First is touring the pits and seeing how other teams have tackled the same problem. Thanks for a great experience. We would love to come back some time. |

Thank you to the Coconuts and Sabercats for a great alliance pairing. We were so happy we could pick you both and couldn't of asked for a better partnership.
Team 842, 610, 1212 congrats on winning the regional, we were honored to be able to take it 3 final matches. Your teams are awesome and hopefully we can have a rematch of it again next year. Thank you all again. Go CocoCobraCats! |
