Driver Station

Ok, so we can't use our old classmate anymore, because there is not enough hard drive available for the new driver station. So we hooked up another laptop. My question is, how do I create a "Driver Station" on the laptop? I've been running the driver station in my normal user but have not been able to create a user such as the one that existed on the classmate.

Re: Driver Station

Stintzi, there should be enough room if you image the driver station (deletes all the old software and installs new).

You mean with the image they provided in the KOP? That never worked for us.

Re: Driver Station

Follow these steps in this manual

That will show you how to install the driver station. Then what I did was create a user named Driver, and put a shortcut to the driver station executable & shortcut to our custom dashboard in the start up folder for that user
Edit: Putting the shortcuts in the starup folder will open them whenever you log onto the account "Driver"

So do we have to put it into a new user? We have the driver station installed, but we don't have it on startup or in full screen mode. We have a large laptop, though it is in the maximum size dimensions.

This year it's not necessary to have a account named driver, we just made another account just for ease of operation. We ran ours windowed mode the whole time, I never really minded it.
