79 won five in a row from 2002 to 2007 and they have a total of 6 ranking them second amongst teams that haven't won a CMP Chairman's based on information from above.

I can't wait to see a four digit team win Chairmans at championships.

Which gets me a bit curious, sorry if this is a bit off topic, are the regionals supposed to play the Chairmans videos? Both at San Diego and Hawaii did they not play it this year. They played it in 2010 when we won it for the first time however.

236 won 7 at New England events (Granite State, UTC New England, UTC Connecticut, and Connecticut are the official event names--I'm pretty sure that other than GSR (2003), they're all CT) from 2003 to 2009, then won the CCA in '09. To win seven, you must first win 5...

San Diego played 1538's video this year. Or at least those of us on the webcast saw it.

Ours was played at NYC last year, but then it wasn't played at CMP.

Another interesting one would be "who has the most RCA wins but no Champs Chairmans". For that one, 340 would be one of the highest, they've won every year at FLR since 2006 or 2007 iirc.

This is a yes and no. If you compile teams that have the most regional wins to date this year the number is 7. These teams are 1108, 234, and 340.

When looking at teams with the most wins that encompasses regionals, districts, and state championships, those teams are 27 with 8 and 503 with 10.
(Please note, I have not included current HOF teams in this mix for I know 365, 341, and 236 won numerous times before winning nationally.)

After regionals and state championships are over, I will be posting all of the statistics for everyone to look over and showcase all the teams that won this year, and see who we will be adding to the HOF in 2012!

The Midwest Regional played it as the stands emptied this year and last year.
10,000 lakes (IIRC) played it before the final goodbye in 2010.

I think it depends on the regional folk, and I honestly think that its somewhat forgotten about by the groups that plan the awards ceremony. It seemed incredibly disrespectful to the winning team (at Midwest this year) because teams are trying to get a move-on by that point, and the winning team doesn't get their story told to the audience.

Regionals are supposed to play the chairman's video after the team has received their award, however, usually by then teams are itching to leave. In San Diego the past 2 years we have played it after closing ceremonies as people are walking out.

While we would be honored to compete in Michigan, I think the Firebirds are supposed to be under the MAR tab

If a team is that great year in and year out, whether they get it this year, or the next, or the next.....they eventually will.

There is about 2 or 3 teams at most, that have a realistic shot at it.............and they know who they are!

How do teams know they have a realistic shot?

@Jane: I think teams like 1114 are the ones with a realistic shot at the CCA.

The ones who've won multiple RCAs on a consistent basis, over a number of years. There are only a handful of such teams in existence.
