Try senior...

And I've never actually been on a date.

Mark me down for being lazy.

Does that mean I only have a limited time of being dateless?

Time to stockpile canned foods, and non-perishables. And money. For the date.

Does your club have cards?

We could have LAN parties in lieu of dates. That'd be fun.

girls.......

Well, I've been out on six dates and I'm a high school senior girl. All six of these dates were formal dances and one of them I went and picked the guy up?!? What is my problem? I guess my question is......Is there room for a girl in your guys only club?? I'm not lazy just can't find a guy that is a gentleman that will pick me up take me to a movie and dinner and then return me home safely. Is that so much to ask?

Poor Michelle! I too have to drive... but that's because he's a year younger than me and doesn't have his license. unfortunately it is true, most guys are jerks. I've only had 2 boyfriends including my current... and the other is now officially labeled a jerk. *sigh* that's almost all there is at my school - they're either sicko jerks, jerks, or taken...
And yes, you should have buttons. Buttons are a MUST for any FIRST-related organization! lol.

anywho... returning to my obscurity...

Girls = Money * Time

Time = Money
Girls = Money^2

Money is the root of evil

Girls = (evil^1/2)^2

Girls = EVIL

Just kidding, but its true...

Hmm...This thread has gone amiss in my absense...

Girls are NOT evil, they are perfect beings, and worthy of our respect, worship, and admiration.

Guys are NOT all jerks.

<-----Exception to the rule.

Money....................

What does money have to do with anything?!? I don't expect a guy to pay everytime we go out, I don't expect him to buy 25-30 dinners everytime we go somewhere. I'm a very independents person and would actually rather pay for my own meal, my own movie, and my own putt-putt!! Girls require affection and a compliment every once and a while is nice. I serious think guys are thinking way to much about money and not enough about just spending time together. Throw a movie in the TV pop some pop corn and call it a romantic evening. I would rather do that then go to the movies!! Any other girls agree??

yes, shelly, i agree- at his house as i have a younger sister and dad who have a tendency to come into the room, at random times and not leave for forever. i however am a bit more demanding in the affection realm. i need lots and lots of hugs, but i get hugs from friends, too.
i too like to pay. i don't expect my boyfriend to pay for everything, in fact sometimes i insist he let me pay.
and ryan, not all girls are evil, some of us don't cost much, and oftentimes those that insist on costing alot aren't girls worth being with anyways, so don't generalize that much.
ben, you're right, not all guys are jerks. we just have a saying around my school - wissahickon guys are jerks (you must live in the district for more than a year to be considered a wissahickon guy, hence the reason my boyfriend is not one). it is true that the rare one is not a jerk, however as a rule, that's what you find. (i like that statement about girls being worthy of respect, admiration, etc... could you come teach the guys on my team that? please?)

well.. in ATL...

This whole thread is interesting....

I find it kinda funny how this thread is going, at my school (where they work us like slaves and feed us like pigs) there aren't any girs on the FIRST team (yet...) but not if I can help it

So yeah, I'll be talking to a friend/s and a girl/s will be listening in/ participating in and I will mention the robotics club. They immiediately loose interest in talking to us and leave (how rude!).

Even funnier is the girls who say that they want to be EE of ME or CE when they grow up refuse to be a part of the FIRST team. Wierd!

Well yeah I go to a magnet school and so many people live far away from school it is tough to get rides etc and people dont go to meetings "just for fun" after school. So our team is very small and of the male gender (because I like to think they all live far away).

Our team is a rookie team a hopefully next year we will have some skirts (as someone fameous used to say) one our team.

Also funny how they're totally attracted by movies (my other past time) and by the mechanics in the camera crane I built but will have nothing ot do w/ the FIRST team.

well as my dad says (and probably all of the guys will agree) if you can under stand women than there's something wrong w/ you

PS. To all of you girls in need of some men... Atlanta is VACENT, come on down...

Southern hospitality and all...

my $.02 (USD)
- Andy
