Absolutely!
I encourage any mentor to attend this that is interested (or parent that deals with any non-engineering tasks!)
I'd also like to extend the invitation to those out-of-staters who will be joining us.
It's going to be extremely informal. More of a meet and greet with a bit of structured conversation.
