When I've gone, I haven't really paid attention to the giveaway part, I've been busy saying hello. That means - I'm not good with understanding the purpose of the mike in the situation this year. Help me understand, please.

The mike was used in the past for the give aways. The structure of the webhug was usually to announce the prize winners. I got some great swag over the years. If the winner wasn't present, they would go on to the next winner. Winners were announced, and would go up to get the swag and I would be thinking (so that is what they look like, or they are here!). I missed it last year because I was grabbed for something at the last minute. Some years it looked like over 100 people there.

It was always great to see people but they aren't wearing their screen names. I guess you could just do a "hi, my name is "

And I'm guessing that Show Ready Events might be the place to start to ask the question.
