Re: ScoutingFIRST.com
How do we submit our team data?
The data the google doc has about Team 1683 is not correct, we can lower the bridge and cross the bump

"Scouting Builds Winning Alliances and Winning Strategies" Team 358
A working robot, a great drive team, and scouting -- all three are required to win
A working robot and a great drive team account = one third of your Alliance
Scouting accounts for two thirds of your Alliance
In the FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC®), no one plays alone!
One of the most important competition aspects of FRC, scouting other teams, is too frequently overlooked. Especially, when teams are new or have few members and limited resources, but even a mediocre robot can win with great strategy built on great scouting. - Knowing your opponents strengths/weaknesses wins matches
- Knowing your alliance partners strengths/weaknesses wins matches
- Knowing your own strengths/weaknesses wins matches
Remember, scouting can be as simple as one or two members watching all or most of the matches, and they can be students, parents, chaparones - whoever is sitting in the stands. If you have zero people to spare, then ally yourselves with a team that does great scouting. Not all but many teams in FIRST will mentor teams in need and will share their scouting data with you, showing you how they get the job done.
