Go to Post The purpose of the game rules is not to imagine and categorically list everything you should not do, but to give you guidelines of FIRST's intent and leave it to your developing good judgment to know what's acceptable and what is simply skirting the rules. - Mark McLeod [more]

Re: Make a wish...AND HAVE IT HORRIBLY CORRUPTED!!!

Granted but forwarding in time has caused time to collapse on itself and you relive the build season over and over and over and over again...........and never reaching stop build day.....

I wish for FIRST Championships to be at the Cowboy Stadium.

It will be, but the game will have footballs, and jumbo-tron will get in the way of punts.

I wish for peace and prosperity for all people!

Re: Make a wish...AND HAVE IT HORRIBLY CORRUPTED!!!

granted, but with everyone being prosperous, the standard for prosperous rises and all prices rise to a level in which a persons buying power is less then current.

I wish for every school in the world to have a FIRST teem (good luck teams )

(if you look back this was left uncorrupted)

granted, but then FIRST goes bankrupt for buying so many required parts, everyone sponsoring people lose all the sponsored money, they sue, schools go bankrupt, children weep.

edit: (nvm i thought of one)

you forgot to make a wish to corrupt.

so I'll make one up for you to continue the consistency of this thread:

"I wish we had frisbee golf pros as our human players"

Granted, but they both develop arthritis right before your first competition.

I wished I could be a driver because the drive team is composed of lower classmen and I'm a senior.

Re: Make a wish...AND HAVE IT HORRIBLY CORRUPTED!!!

Granted, but (I noticed you're a programmer) you spend so much time and effort practicing to be the driver that the code suffers and autonomous ends up not working.

I wish I didn't have so much homework!

Then with your spare time you'd have to get a ton of jobs to fill the void of time you'd be wasting.

I wish that I could travel through time and space.
