long walks on the beach... *sigh* barefoot, under the sunset or at night... talk about an incurable romantic's dream!!!

usually i prefer lakes, though... they can be just as romantic... watching the sunset over the other bank of the lake, seeing the bonfires at the edge, sprawling on my back on the dock watching the stars come out, maybe a late-night canoe ride or swim. snuggling together b/c its upstate new york and freezing cold...
(yes i have a specific place in mind, but alas the scenarios i just described haven't quite happened yet... watching the sunset on the beach has, though... )
/me is incurable romantic

LOL sum funny ones up there. one of my ex-girlfriends found out I was on the team this year. She comes into the programing room earlier this week cause she's interested in joining, so when one of the guys asked if she wanted to join with a kind of look in his eye, she responded "yes, but I think my ex would have my head as the optical sensors"

Long Walks on the beach, sure you wanna risk that
Barefoot- i wouldn't suggest it, wear as much protection on your feet as you can
Talk about random things - if you are alive long enough (from the air) to talk that is amazing

haha yea..... Jersey beaches are good for one thing dumping waste....no wait wanna get attacked by an exsessivly large amount of Jellyfish than hope right in

Wildwood is the best. The water is too far from the boards though....
Hee hee I can say I did the walking on the beach at sunset! Well, kinda was running a bit, cuz in order to see the sunset we had to get on the other side of that big ol' billboard on Steel Pier in Atlanctic City....

I can't wait till I do get my liscence. It feels kinda awkward having to rely on Stacia for a ride if we're gonna go out. But, what can ya do? Sit back and enjoy the ride....

Hmmmm....now for my explanation of a random smylie.

<Just got flashed (You have to be able to see the animation)

The beach in The Silent Cartographer mission of Halo looks pretty nice.

The alien corpses, craters, plasma scoring, and bloody sand might detract from the scenery, though...

Whatever floats your boat.

You have some way to ruin a romantic thought. Though I can't argue ... still ... what's more romantic then you're date glowing green after falling in the water as he/she tries to get a piece of sharp object out of your foot?

(I'm sorry, I like comedy so much more, I'm better at laughing)

Me too.

But no one laughs at my jokes, except out of pity. Or disgust. One or the other.

the beaches...

Well Jersey and LBH are like walks in the park compared to beaches in Georgia... (yes we have beaches, they're just NASTY) Plus living in Atlanta the beaches are at the least a 6 hour car ride away...

However if you're into moutains and the wilderness (some nice hidden lakes and streams in them hills) Georgia is the place. Only a 2 hour car ride from the big city puts you in pristine wilderness. Complete with a drunken redneck (they really exist! Only in the south though!) and several moonshine stills (look it up).

The biggest gripe out of towners have about the ATL is there really isn't any nightlife. Sure there are alot of fancy schmancy resturaunts but nothing in downtow ATL it's all in Buchhead... (teachnicly still part of Atlanta)

Downtown is really scary at night and you're lucky if you don't get shot or mugged. But as I said no one ever goes downtown most just live near it. (I live about 15 min from downtown) OH yeah GA tech is downtown. Boy the out of school students stay in there dorms ALOT because they dont know where to go...

Wow that turned into a rant...

Back on topic. All the pick up lines I've ever heard arn't exactly G-rated so if you still want to hear them they are funny.. (PM me)

well thats all for now
-Andy

I am in fourth year german (pity me) and recently I had to write a letter trying to seduce a woman in GERMAN.

It is hard enough in ENGLISH! So of course the night before it was due I was hard at work...

It had to be a page long typed and I ran out of ideas at about 2:30 in the morning (halfway done) so I did as any slacker would have done:

I searched for pickup lines on google.

Than translated it on altavista

Than sent it to one of my brillient german friends to proof read.

See what I would do was take a line like

You're eyes sparkle like diamonds suspended in the night sky, wanna make out? (BTW I just made that up, pretty good!)

and turned it into

You're eyes sparkle like diamonds suspended in the night sky.

Plenty mushy. I got an A on the assignment (which didn't keep me from scraping by w/ an 80.0001% in his class)

Yeah well anyway ony one who wants some more p-up lines PM me and we'll see if I can post them...

-Andy
