Similar to the MAR vs FiM, each of the various regions could put together their own "regional all-star" alliance for a fun little playoff.
Just imagine, a Texas and West Coast matchup, 1717/254/987 vs 118/148/1477... or maybe you'd like to see 67/469/33 play 1114/2056/188? Oh, the possibilities at IRI  .However, I fully support placing more emphasis on getting in lots of qualification matches. More matches means better rankings.
