I agree. You can't even compare the alliances by singling out certain teams. An alliance wins a competition, not just a team. Both teams are talented, but had to rely on their partners at some point.

Having watched all matches of both sets (the GTRWest Finals in person, and the Archi Finals on webcast), I think the Archi finals were much higher level play, and thereby emotionally charged and exciting to watch. Plus, it resulted in the first All-Canadian alliance on Einstein.
Both were excellent sets of matches. I just wish we could have watched the Eh Team play a fair set on Einstein. I wouldn't feel so bad about them losing to Curie if it had been a fair fight with nobody losing connection to the field. |
