Atwood Motors

...so does anyone know if the atwood motor is the same as last year's one, now that the specs are up? (in terms of performance?)

Atwood,Chiaphua,CIM...whatever!

Antonio,

I could kick myself for not remembering the exact #'s, but I'll get it for tomorrow. We, just for the heck of it, put it on a tachometer/strobe and found that both motors were VERY much slower than last year's motors. We used the same strobe last year, so I know that that isn't the problem. I want to say that it is less than 4000 rpms but I might be mistaken. I'm sure that before I can post our actual #'s some one will have some data of their own.

BTW both motors were within 4-7 rpms of each other--which is pretty good. Also there was the anticipated 175 rpm difference between foward and reverse.

I'm not really sure, I found it on one of the other forums I was browsing through. This might not be this year's, but it has charts and stuff which can be pretty useful for other help.

well, I guess it doesn't matter that much since we can use last year's Chiaphua motor which means they must be the same

f22flyboy will become famous soon enoughf22flyboy will become famous soon enough
It has a very nice hex coupler that easily converts it to a 5/8" axle, as does the Bosch drill motor
