Netbeans FTP

Hello, whenever we try uploading code it takes 4-5 minutes. The longest part of running the code is here:

Network interfaces on host:
    Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller:  address: 10.30.55.5 netmask: 255.0.0.0 <--- on robot's subnet
Connecting FTP @10.30.55.2
upgrade:
Sending local file image.suite

Where it says Connecting FTP@10.30.55.2 it takes about 4 minutes every time to continue. Everything else is super fast. Is there anything we can do to make this faster?
