SPAM Robot design

Team 180 came decided last thursday to make a drastic change from our normal robot design process.

After finishing the last of 180 cans of Spam, our team came to the realization. A robot built competely from spam, the containers that hold it, and a few rubber bands could completely dominate at the upcoming competitions. The drive system will be built from two solidified pieces of Spam, with the rubber bands running between them. The chassis will be constructed from the left-over cans of spam that we consumed last night. The treads will be made from Spam labels, and it will lift the bins with Spam's telekinetic aura.

Thank you.

This is not entirely true. You forget that it also depends on the combined will of the members of the team and the intense concentration of the driver and operator.

We can also go under the bar in SPAMphibious mode.

FIRST robotics is only one of our robot's purposes. We are also in the Spam Bowl parade. The surface of the robot has to be completely made of Spam except the wheels that can be made of fruitcake.

We don't know this person. There is no Spam Bowl parade. Please do not send us emails about this. We have already received 300. *sigh*

People people! you must realize that while our robot is based on the above basics our animation team are not nearly as into our "unique" methods. But they believe that the old ways of about the 1700's is more the style they need to follow. They will be banned from attending regionals and nationials w/ us if they do not conform to our new methods. They are sending us negative vibes and break our concentration. I will admit... it takes a lot to keep it moving

Our robot can move about 18 feet a sec on a good day but thats only if we lock the animation team in the closet

Uhhhh, wouldn't that violate some kind of rule about not including "dangerous and/or toxic substances" on the robot that might endanger the players or audience?

If there is not such a rule, there should be.

I hope there is, because a robot made of asbestos wouldn't really thrill the judges in the 'XEROX Creativity Award' department.
