Team Colors

I would say the most common colors are Blue, Black, and Red, there are tons of other common colors, but those are just a few I see allot. Our team color is Orange, its actually becoming more popular..... Its an awesome color!

I remember when my team use to be one of the very rare teams to be wearing Orange. But yes Orange is becoming a very popular colour.

I think you just need to implement it into you stuff more to stand out.

By the way why do all american's spell Colour wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Hey, we spell it right down here. It's all "U" guys up there (and the British) that spell it wrong!

We're blue and white to match our school and because when Jack grows up he wants to be the Cheesy Poofs.

Not many teams PC in the Northeast. I hope we keep doing it in the future.

You bring up a good point with that! Many teams may share the same colors, but the teams who incorporate it into more places such as powdercoating the robot are the ones who are really recognized as the owners of those colors.

I think even if you pick a common combo of colors the important thing to make yourself recognizable is to incorporate it into as many places as you can.

Since everyone is talking about patterns, I want to point ou that one of the cooler shirts I've seen belonged to team 40 (Checkmate). They had a checkerboard style red and white pattern on their shirts, and I remember it standing out pretty well.

bright pink and bright blue. Our guy mentors love us. Can you tell?

our school colors (brown and gold) weren't going to cut it.

Usually pink/blue lighting makes it onto the robot, and people know us well for pink/blue, unicorns, and all girls. We had black tshirts this year without unicorns on them (opposed to our long streak of bright blue), and we got tons of questions about mascot/color changes. We're pretty recognizable at our regionals now I guess!
Occasionally we've had pink toolbelts and other things to add to the team image.

If we ever see you at a regional or (hopefully) nationals next year, maybe we can swap! I don't know for sure, but we'll probably be back to blue again next year.

2003? there were 18 teams in Canada by 2003. The First Team outside of USA was 188 from Canada in 1998.

But Please Call it World Championships, It makes every other Country feel like they don't belong.

Well, considering the person who did that wasn't involved until the last two years... I've never understood how someone who was never around when it was called Nationals mixes it up... That being said, I distinctly recall the sign outside the Dome in 2010 saying FIRST National Championship... I laughed.

Yeah, were trying to, our #1094 sign we use is white cause it was a last minute thing, so we might change it to Orange with white lettering.

I spell it as Color so...
