Sorry, both Team 70 and 494 are STINGER OUT, their flippers are their stingers.

Re: M.A.R.C. 2012 Invite list
1918 stinger out. It was first used in troy. we only use it in the case of a triple so we keep it taped in the stowed position, during qualification rounds. Our first triple with 85 and 910 was with no stinger and done in less than 15 seconds from the time we decided we needed three rather than two. Of course that was NOT with the rookie drive team that will be at MARC

Re: M.A.R.C. 2012 Invite list
Updated.
Please use the following classifications: STINGER OUT - Stinger of any kind applied outside of frame perimeter STINGER IN - Stinger of any kind applied inside frame perimeter BRAKES - Braking/stay put system - mechanical brakes, pneumatic pad onto bridge surface, etc. PID BRAKES - Deserves its own category if no other mechanical braking present, as control stops once match ends. OVERHANG(+) - Can hang at least 12" of robot off the bridge. Use OVERHANG+ if you have additional features to secure the bot that don't fall into any other category - wood blocks, wedges, tilting arm to affect COG :-), etc. 33....WIDE..STINGER OUT 48....LONG..STINGER IN..OVERHANG+ 51....WIDE..STINGER IN 67....WIDE..STINGER OUT 68....WIDE.. 70....WIDE..STINGER OUT 107...WIDE.. 123...LONG.. 191...LONG.. 217...LONG..STINGER IN..OVERHANG+ 240...LONG.. 245...WIDE.. 279...LONG.. 280...LONG.. 302...WIDE.. 308...LJMP.. 461...LONG..OVERHANG 469...SQUA..STINGER OUT 470...WIDE.. 494...WIDE..STINGER OUT 503...LMEC.. 548...LONG..STINGER IN..OVERHANG 815...WMEC.. 830...WIDE.. 862...LONG..STINGER IN..OVERHANG 910...WIDE..STINGER OUT..OVERHANG..BRAKES 1023..WIDE..STINGER OUT 1243..WIDE.. 1504..LONG.. 1528..WIDE.. 1675..LONG..STINGER OUT..OVERHANG 1718..WIDE..STINGER OUT..BRAKES 1732..WIDE.. 1918..WIDE..STINGER OUT 2137..WIDE.. 2337..LONG..STINGER IN..OVERHANG..BRAKES 2604..WIDE.. 2612..LONG.. 2832..LONG.. 2834..WIDE..STINGER OUT 2851..WIDE.. 3096..WIDE.. 3098..WIDE..STINGER OUT 3175..WIDE.. 3302..LONG.. 3322..WIDE..STINGER OUT 3357..WIDE.. 3539..LONG.. 3547..LONG.. 3641..LONG..OVERHANG+..BRAKES 4395..WIDE.. Re: M.A.R.C. 2012 Invite list
910 is Wide, has a Stinger Out, Brakes, and is only 24" long and requires only 13" of ramp to support the bot (including bumpers).
Looking forward to seeing all of our friends at MARC! |

Re: M.A.R.C. 2012 Invite list
Kind of late, but 68 has something like brakes. When we are on low gear on the bridge our robot will not/can not move without significant force applied to it.
One of the field reset volunteers thought we were stuck before we switched it to high gear. |

Re: M.A.R.C. 2012 Invite list
Just a quick note - 1504 is mechanum (long). I noticed you had labeled that for other teams as well, like 308 and 503.

Sad, webcast just went off in the middle of the ...
