We got the unassembled version, so students will have the joys of building everything, right down to pressing in bearings and greasing up gears. The complete CAD model of the chassis is available through HPI, so replacement parts will be machined out of plastic or aluminum in-house and upgrades (arduino? BB RS540/encoder back-shaft?) can be modeled and built exactly to fit.

You certainly got some very expensive (but very fun to bash) trucks.
