Values through Dashboard

I was wondering if it is possible to update values through the dashboard. Like changing the value of a motor through a input box.

Re: Values through Dashboard

Yea, it is possible. You can make a button on a the dashboard, then UDP send that data to the cRio. And somewhere in your robot code, place a UDP receive loop to receive that data so you can use it in your code.

Search "UDP" on CD and many helpful threads should come up. They may be talkng about send UDP from the robot to the dashboard. But its the same the other way around.

Edit: Here's a good example http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...28&postcount=4

Re: Values through Dashboard

Make a new Dasboard Project in LabView and add all necessary inputs in the front panel of the Dashboard Main.vi
