Autodesk Student Download Center is currently down

I thought I should share with anyone who is hoping to get some practice in with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor that the student download center has some sort of error displaying only a blank screen whenever someone tries to download one of the free software. This issue has already been reported to the Autodesk forums and has gotten this reply:

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience as the Education Community download page is currently unavailable. With that being said, you can still download and receive an educational license from the Autodesk Students Facebook page, or download the software as a trial which would act more so as a temporary workaround.

I guess all we can do now is either wait or use the trial version and hope the issue is fixed before it expires. Sorry for the bad news folks.
