On October 14th, all SBPLI area teams are invited to the Webb Institute for a FRC conference. The conference will be free of cost for all participants.
The conference will cover a few technical and non-technical topics in a series of workshops, including design strategy, manipulators, scouting, drive-train selection, control systems, and the FIRST Chairman’s award. These pre-season workshops are designed to bring students together in advance of the build season to learn and share information about FRC.
The conference begins at 9:00 for rookies, 10:00 for all other teams, and ends at around 3:00. The Webb Institute is an engineering college located in Glen Cove, NY and the majority of the lectures will occur in their auditorium. Please email
