FMS Light error "Unable to download the manifest from the central server"

Hi all,

I am assisting in running a small off-season scrimmage coming up this labor day weekend and would love to use FMS Light to run this event. I have downloaded FMS Light from the FIRST website along with .NET 3.5 as per the FMS Light manual.

The problem comes when I start up FMS Light. I am getting an error message the reads "Unable to download the manifest from the central server." (This is coming from the FMS Launcher that automatically starts up) I have all firewalls/virus protection disabled along with windows firewall so I'm not sure where to go from here since I can't start up the software.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

(If this was discussed in another thread I apologize I could not find anything on this issue.)

Thanks
