Where to order foam to build FLL field ?

Hello All,

I have seen some fields built out of foam instead of wood. Does anyone has a good vendor to order such a foam ?

Thanks for the help,
Marcos.

More than likely what you observed was a table using a4x8 sheet of insulation which is sold in the building materials section of most hardware stores.

This stuff, for example
And if you cover it with some 1/4" luan plywood, it will be strong as heck.

Re: Where to order foam to build FLL field ?

Thanks Don,

I went to Lowe's and bought a $17 one to try out. I cut it at the parking lot, so it can fit in my car.

I did a 36",24",36" cut; instead of doing 32" cut in which I was hoping in doing.... but still worked out.

Cheers,
Marcos.
